0.8 Update


Heyo, got a cool update for everyone today!

  • Implemented a multi-core lighting solver.
    • WAY faster lighing than before
    • Fixes a ton of lighting glitches
    • Improved stability of the rest of the game as a result
    • Still has a few minor issues, but for the most part is overall much better than the previous setup.
  • Massive optimization for liquids.
  • Player is now saved and loaded along with the world.
  • Reworked the mechanics behind player's death
  • Lava now damages all entities
  • Added more variety to underground loot.
  • Changed liquid generation probabilities
  • Bunch of small bugfixes, performance, and stability improvements.

The mechanics of the game are more or less done, so the next few updates will try to focus on adding content. As usual, previous saves aren't compatible. Lemme know about any bugs/crashes/annoying things you find!
